Donation Terms
1. General Information
By making a donation to One Citizen Humanity (OCH), you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. These terms are intended to ensure transparency and accountability in our fundraising and donation processes.
2. Non-Profit Status
OCH is a registered non-profit organization based in Sweden. Donations are used solely for the organization’s stated mission and activities, including humanitarian aid, education, emergency response, and community development projects.
3. Voluntary Contributions
All donations are made voluntarily. Donors are not obligated to contribute and do so of their own free will. OCH does not use aggressive solicitation tactics and respects every individual’s choice.
4. Use of Donations
Donations will be used responsibly and efficiently in accordance with OCH’s mission. While donors may suggest a purpose, OCH retains full control over the allocation of funds to ensure they are directed where the need is greatest. Major donations (e.g., over €50,000) may be subject to written agreements.
5. Receipts and Records
All donors will receive a confirmation email. Upon request, OCH will provide a formal receipt for tax or record-keeping purposes. Please note that tax-deductibility depends on your country’s laws and OCH’s local status.
6. Refunds
Due to the nature of donations, OCH generally does not offer refunds. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for accidental duplicate transactions or technical errors. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the donation.
7. Anonymous Donations
Donors may choose to remain anonymous. In such cases, only the required minimum data will be processed for internal reporting and compliance purposes.
8. Donor Privacy
All donor information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Personal data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
9. High-Value Donations and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance
For donations exceeding €10,000, OCH may request identification documents and additional information to comply with AML regulations. Donations suspected of breaching international sanctions or money laundering laws will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
10. Corporate and Institutional Donations
Organizations, foundations, or corporate partners interested in donating to OCH may contact us for partnership agreements, impact reports, and project-specific funding opportunities.
