Are my donations tax-deductible?

Yes. One Citizen Humanity is registered as a Swedish non-profit (ideell förening). Donation receipts are recognised by most EU tax authorities.

How do I obtain a donation receipt?

Forward your payment confirmation to info@onecitizenhumanity.org . You will receive a PDF receipt within five business days.

Can I set up a monthly donation?

Absolutely. Select “Monthly” on our donation form. You can pause or cancel anytime via the link in your confirmation email.

Where does One Citizen Humanity operate?

We deploy projects globally, prioritising regions with high child-risk scores, humanitarian need and climate vulnerability.

How do you decide which projects to fund?

We use a needs-based index and coordinate with local authorities and UN-OCHA to avoid overlap and maximise impact.

Can I volunteer remotely?

Yes. Remote roles in translation, design, data and outreach open every quarter. Register your interest via the Volunteer form.

How are children protected in your programmes?

We follow a zero-tolerance Child Safeguarding Policy aligned with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The full text is available on our Policies page.

How can I report misconduct or fraud?

Use our Secure Report Portal or email report@onecitizenhumanity.org . Anonymous reports are accepted and protected from retaliation.

Are you affiliated with any government or religion?

No. We are strictly non-partisan and non-sectarian.
